Mrs. Atherton - Assistant Principal

Dear Team Eisenhower, 

I am excited to be serving our wonderful Eisenhower community as assistant principal. With 15 years of experience in education as a teacher for various grade levels, teacher on special assignments for our new teachers, district supervisor, and assistant principal, I am proud to be a part of our Eisenhower Team. I share the school community’s dedication to caring for our students every day to provide them with a meaningful learning environment. 

I started attending schools here at Garden Grove Unified School District as a third grader when my family immigrated here from South Korea. I had many wonderful educators who provided me with caring support to achieve my academic and personal goals. I believe that every child has the potential to learn and excel. Therefore, I strive to work closely with our families and staff to provide the best learning environment for our students. 

It truly takes a team effort to meet the needs of our students. I appreciate the dedicated community here at Eisenhower that consists of parents, volunteers, teachers, and school support staff. 

I look forward to getting to know you better this year and welcoming our new students for another amazing school year at Eisenhower!
