Mrs. Garcia - Assistant Principal

Dear Eisenhower Family,

 

I am genuinely thrilled to be joining the Eisenhower community for the upcoming school year! My journey in the Garden Grove Unified School District spans 22 years, beginning as an elementary school teacher for nine years and then serving as a TK-6 Instructional Teacher on special assignment for 13 years. In this role, I've had the privilege of supporting our dedicated educators in working with our students. 

 

I am  a first-generation Mexican-American of parents who immigrated from Michoacán, Mexico. Being the first in my family to attend college and earn a degree has shaped my belief that every child, regardless of their background, possesses the potential to thrive academically.

 

As your new Assistant Principal, I am committed to supporting our families and the exceptional staff at Eisenhower in fostering an inclusive learning environment that honors the rich diversity of our community. We should all take pride in our heritage and the unique stories we bring to our school.

 

I wholeheartedly believe that the dedication and professionalism of our staff are crucial to the success of our students and our community as a whole. I am eager to embark on this new school year and can't wait to meet all of our families and scholars.
